Role and Responsibilities

  • Oversee and direct the performance of the regional DM sales team to meet and exceed KPI and budget expectations
  • Make data-informed decisions to drive performance and resource allocation
  • Ensure the delivery of targets through proper KPI management, individual recognition, performance review, and people management
  • Provide the necessary support to sales associates to enable leads and close new deals
  • Interact closely with all cross-functional levels and teams to discuss subjects that have an impact on clients and sales
  • Communicate and enforce company policies and practices and promote DM Core Values
  • Collaborate closely with the Marketing team to provide valuable insights and feedback for KOLs and sales teams to generate and drive regional educational events
  • Organize regular co-travels with individual team members to ensure professional growth and development
  • Drive team KPI analytics to ensure account growth, ie. QBRs, in-office visits, pipeline management, etc.
  • Partner with the Training & Education team to plan the training of new Sales Representatives and ensure ongoing continuing education training modules are completed in a timely fashion
  • Develop a solid technical understanding of the DM product portfolio and how its application benefits an orthodontic practice
  • Coach a sales team, demonstrate how to assess customer needs, and effectively communicate DM value proposition to DM's customers, staff, and patients
  • Maintain relevant customer information and sales activity within CRM per KPI expectations
  • Participate in trade shows, both local and international as determined by DM

Information Security

  • Be aware of the responsibility regarding information security
  • Perform work according to the applicable policies and procedures
  • Contribute actively to the continuous improvement of our ISMS
  • Report any observed or suspected weaknesses in our ISMS and any information security incident
  • Promote awareness regarding information security in the team
  • Monitor the applicable key indicators of the ISMS

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of proven sales experience as a Sales Manager or in a similar sales leadership role, in the territory to be serviced
  • Strong track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Ability to adapt in an evolving environment and recognize opportunities to proactively deliver impact
  • Self-motivated team player able to prioritize and manage projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in necessary computer tools for the role, including Salesforce, and a keen interest in new technologies
  • Ability to establish and maintain relationships/partnerships with internal and external clients
  • Flexibility to travel regularly to client locations, events and co-travel with the team
  • Fluent in the language relevant to the scope
  • Advanced level of spoken and written English

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a startup or scale-up environment
  • A high level of IT knowledge (experience with dental scanners)
  • A background in med-tech, dental, and/or ortho
  • Experience with digital applications or products
