The Growth Development Team leads the creation and delivery of ambitious projects designed to grow Whoosh sales and enhance the customer experience. Operating in a rapidly expanding market, we develop new functionalities and propositions that are often complex and involve a wide range of stakeholders. You will be responsible for
- Managing projects that grow the Whoosh business - developing and delivering complex initiatives, adapting plans as needed.
- Building strong, collaborative relationships across Technology, CEC, Retail, Customer, Commercial, Fulfilment, and the wider Online team to enable fast and effective execution.
- Navigating ambiguity and working with the right teams to create clarity and drive progress.
- Using a data‑led, analytical approach to identify opportunities, quantify benefits, and assess risks.
- Leading the communication process throughout the project lifecycle, providing clear, concise, and timely updates to Leadership.
- Demonstrating strong teamwork and collaboration, actively contributing to the team's success and supporting others where needed.
- Supporting and guiding project team members in a values‑led, agile way, testing, learning, and adapting as you go.
- Evaluating outcomes post‑launch, objectively reviewing project benefits and feedback against the original business case and KPIs.
- Prioritising effectively in a fast‑paced environment, focusing on what matters most (20:80) and managing multiple workstreams simultaneously.
You will need
- Experience managing complex, cross‑functional projects in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a data‑led mindset and confidence working with numbers (including Excel).
- A solid understanding of retail, alongside a commercial mindset and the ability to identify and shape opportunities.
- Experience in financial and business planning to support decision making and assess project benefits.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage, influence, and bring others on the journey.
- Confidence working with ambiguity and shifting priorities, creating clarity where needed.
- The ability to apply pragmatic, innovative solutions to complex problems.
- A focus on what matters most (20:80 mindset) and the ability to manage multiple workstreams at once.
- Experience collaborating with Technology teams or working in a tech‑enabled environment would be preferred.
