Hours - an average of 24 hours per week between Monday to Saturday - to be discussed fully at interview. Start/Finish times may vary (shifts will be within 6am-6pm Mon-Fri and 6am-12noon Sat)

Location - Tyseley, Birmingham B11 2BA

Can also be asked to work at our Perry Barr or Kings Norton sites when needed

What will you be doing?

As a Weighbridge Operator you will ensure that all vehicles carrying waste or recyclables are weighed on entering and exiting the facility in compliance with all statutory regulations and requirements.

  • Act as first point of contact for any staff / customers / vehicles to resolve any issues/problems with the delivery / collection of the goods
  • Operate the weighbridge systems
  • Process all data and maintain accurate records
  • Provide a prompt & efficient service to clients and 3rd party haulage subcontractors

What are we looking for?

  • Similar administrative experience within a busy operational environment
  • Good IT skills
  • Basic knowledge & understanding of Non Hazardous and Hazardous waste compliance is desirable
