The University of Central Lancashire is seeking a Web Content Manager to lead the development of our website's content, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience. This is a fixed term contract to cover parental leave for 12 months or until the return of the substantive post holder.

This exciting role is positioned within the Marketing department, and the successful candidate will be instrumental in enhancing the University of Central Lancashire's digital presence, supporting our marketing goals, and driving the delivery of high-quality content to key audiences.

The postholder will o versee the website's content strategy, ensuring it supports the University's marketing and brand objectives and c ollaborate with a range of stakeholders to create content that maximises visibility and engagement. They will s erve as the editor-in-chief for all web content, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and consistency across digital assets and l ead on the planning, production, and development of digital materials, including both written and visual content. They will also w ork closely with the UX, Design and Development teams to improve user journeys and overall site performance, informed by web analytics and user feedback and i mplement effective SEO strategies and oversee compliance with web regulations.

The successful candidate will have a degree or significant industry experience, along with experience in web content management and marketing, with proven expertise in content marketing, SEO, and web publishing. You will also have a s trong knowledge of Google Analytics or Looker Studio to monitor and improve website performance and a solid understanding of user-experience design and the ability to optimise content for conversion.
