Waste Permitting Consultant - Senior/Principal

Building on the above, we are looking to expand our Waste and Resource Management Team.

The Opportunity:

We are looking to recruit a Senior or Principal Waste Permitting Consultant with expertise in environmental permitting to take an active part in the delivery of our expanding waste and resource related services. This position can be based from either Birmingham or Stoke-on-Trent.

Though there will be opportunities across a range projects, the current emphasis for this role will be on applying for environmental permits and monitoring compliance at permitted sites.

The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of waste and environmental legislation through experience of working as a regulator, consultant or within an operational role in the waste industry. With a good understanding of the Waste and Resource Management Industry and its role in delivering a circular economy and addressing climate change, they will also have a succinct writing style and excellent interpersonal skills, to be able to communicate with and influence a wide range of stakeholders.
