Overview of the role

Joining an established and growing area of the Well Pharmacy business, within our Warehouse. This is more than your standard warehouse role; you'll be working in a modern warehouse but also within a pharmacy professional environment and dealing with new technology that will have a positive impact on our customers.

You'll join the team working closely with other Team Managers and reporting into the Shift Operations Manager in running the operation, ensuring standards are maintained and improved, reviewing ways of working and ensuring that you and your team deliver specific KPIs. You'll be responsible for managing your team, regarding performance, engagement through to handovers and ensuring the correct headcount is available to achieve volume.
From quality and accuracy through to problem resolution, you'll be liaising with the wider warehouse operations as well as onsite technology support to ensure quick resolution to any issues and minimal impact on delivery of workload. A large part of the role will also be focussing on continuous improvements, planning and ensuring that the operation runs smoothly around fluctuating volumes.

Main Responsibility
Key knowledge and skills required for the role:
• Line Management experience within Logistics and Warehousing
• Competent to stand up to audiences and motivate the team, driving behaviours
• Operational Excellence/ Lean/ Six Sigma Experience desirable
• Very good knowledge of IT Warehouse Management Systems
• Good experience working with Microsoft Office Word, Excel & PowerPoint
• IOSH qualification desirable but is not essential
