Shift patterns: Any 5 from 7 - predominantly Monday - Friday day shift
Location: Manton Wood Site 4 - S80 3EG

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking an experienced Warehouse Stock and Administration Manager to play a vital role leading and managing the sites Stock and Admin activities in relation to planning, training, continuous improvement and quality.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:

  • Lead, plan and report upon the work activities of the Stock Team executing against customer requirements and operational performance, whilst ensuring robust procedures are in place across all areas of accountability
  • Managing the regional strategy and working practices for managing perpetual inventory to ensure integrity, an understanding of stock loss contractual liability and that risk is effectively mitigated
  • Working closely with site General Managers to develop inventory strategy and working practices to maximise efficiencies and best practice
  • To ensure quality, consistency and compliance across the site through effective planning and optimum deployment of operational resource

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

  • Previous team management experience within a warehouse environment is essential - ideally within stock/admin
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, engage and develop a new team
  • Stakeholder management experience, with the ability to build strong relationships and deliver a high level of service to customers
  • Must have experience working in or managing the Stock/ Admin department from a current or previous role
  • Excellent IT literacy skills - experience using Warehouse Management Systems is essential. Blue Yonder experience is desirable
