Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: Mon to Fri, 7 am to 4 pm; Mon to Thurs, 7 am to 1 pm; Fri

We're now looking for a Warehouse Shift Manager to take operational leadership and budget responsibility for managing a safe and efficient operation to help achieve operational standards and meet the agreed service level agreements.

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Demonstrate an active leadership style, taking full responsibility for driving an engagement culture in your area of respnbility
• Deal with HR processes in a timely manner, following the correct process and leveraging appropriate support when required.
• Understand the root causes of performance results and set actions with your direct reports and Operations Manager for improving the results
• Act as the first point of contact for the customer relating to site operation matters and build a good relationship to develop trust and ensure strong engagement
• Ensure the appropriate communication, understanding and compliance with all relevant DHL policies takes place
• Understand Health and Safety related risks in your area , take actions to eliminate or minimise these risks according to an agreed plan

• Ability to drive Standards within the direct team
• Ability to manage change processes
• Minimum 4 years of warehouse management experience
• Operations experience managing a team
• Customer facing experience, is an advantage
