Job Description

Salary: Competitive

Shift Patterns: 5 over 7

The Role:

It is essential to possess administrative skills. Key responsibilities include:

• Complete management of a team of warehouse colleagues, including holidays, timekeeping and training.
• Working closely with all departments, creating a team ethos.
• Maintaining and driving current H&S standards.
• Ensuring warehouse processes are always followed.
• Proactively manage and challenge the warehouse team, using kpi data.
• Liaising with other Shift Managers and providing a comprehensive daily handover document.
• Work closely with and be an extension of the Operations Manager.
• Attend daily meetings and conference calls with internal and external colleagues.
• Conducting Improving Behaviour at Work meetings as and when required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programmes and ability to learn warehouse management systems.
• Be flexible to amend and cover different shift patterns (holiday/sickness cover etc)

The person:

• Excellent attention to detail with a can do attitude.
• Experience of managing a team of people.
• Ability to build relationships with other departments within the network.
• Ability to prioritise workload.
• Ability to work closely as part of a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to take on and learn new roles and responsibilities.
• Good people skills.
• Self-motivated.

Training will be given to the right individual.
