Warehouse Manager - Nights 4 on 4 off

The Role

Accountable for the efficient management and oversight of warehouse operations, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints and service level agreements. Deliver a dependable service to customers while complying with all legal regulations. Oversee the safe and effective receipt, storage, and dispatch of warehouse materials, goods, and products to support business functions and meet customer needs.

Salary Range: £40,000 - £41,000 per year

Duties Include:

• Ensure an efficient warehouse operation which is able to fulfil operational and customer demand
• Provide a safe working environment, adhering to Health, Safety and Environmental procedures and ensuring they are understood and practiced by the team at all times
• Plan, co-ordinate and monitor the receipt, storage and dispatch of goods
• Ensure the relevance and accuracy of all documentation relating to goods in and goods out including labelling of all stock items
• Develop and maintain metrics/KPIs, reports, process documentation, customer service logs and training and safety records
• Ensure that vehicles, machinery and equipment is well maintained and fit for purpose

Skills & Experience Required:

• Proven management skills with the ability to optimise team performance and development
• Highly developed inter-personal and communication skills coupled with the ability to negotiate and influence at all levels within the business
• Good IT skills, in particular spread sheets and databases and a knowledge of warehouse systems
• Strong decision-making skills
• Excellent organisation skills
