Warehouse Manager in Luton

Newstaff Recruitment Agency in Luton is recruiting for a Warehouse Manager on behalf of a client based in Luton.

Salary: £45,000 per annum + Excellent Benefits Package.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support and manage the warehouse team, overseeing functions such as picking and packing.
• Assist the team in a hands-on capacity as needed.
• Supervise and process customer orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain stock levels and ensure efficient inventory management.
• Train and develop staff to ensure high performance and continuous improvement.
• Professionally resolve customer queries.
• Carry out all other management duties as required to maintain warehouse efficiency.

Essential Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of management and staff management experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
• A forklift (Reach Truck) Licence is ideal.
• Experience handling electrical components is preferred but not essential.
• Import/export experience is preferred but not essential.
• A flexible and adaptable team player with excellent leadership skills.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
• Occasional Saturday shifts, so flexibility is required.
