Position: Warehouse Manager
Location: Stanstead Airport, Consolidation Centre
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift pattern: Rotational any 5 from 7 days, Afternoons/Evenings - 6pm to 6am

We make promises to our customers, and we'll make promises to you too. The key responsibilities in this role include;
- To manage the running of a safe and efficient operation, working within clear guidelines to help achieve defined outcomes for the site and the customer(s).
- To manage the operational teams landside and airside, terminal team and drivers through the team to ensure all HSE, security and transport compliance requirements are met to the regulated body requirement.
- To ensure all site set KPI's are achieved for both DHL and Stansted Airport within budgeted cost for their respective shift.
- Report and investigate incidents within the work place and respond to or escalate issues of non compliance to safety regulations and procedures. Ensuring corrective and preventable actions are put in place.
- Communicate productivity and direct hours targets to your team ensuring they have a clear understanding of what is expected from them - including communication to new hires.
- Support management with resource planning and management e.g. rota creation, gaps in rota, holiday cover, implement agreed processes to review performance, monitor absense and sickness and address issues within clear guidelines.
- Clearly understands operational results, implements corrective action where required and communicates operational results at shift level & to senior management.
- Conduct pre-shift meetings with your team, ensuring clear communication regarding site's performance indicators and improvement actions in process
