Description
- Ensure the warehouse operates at peak efficiency, with customer satisfaction being the primary goal, by supervising, organising, directing, and training warehouse employees and establishing, monitoring, and managing operation goals.
- Develop warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements, equipment utilisation, inventory management and shipping.
- Train and manage a warehouse team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals.
- Oversee daily operations, while controlling and managing inventory and goods in/out.
- Review and prepare workflow, manning and space requirements, equipment layout, and action plans while ensuring productivity, quality and customer service standards are met.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
What you'll do at Pasta Evangelists:
- Supervise daily activities of the warehouse, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management and goods in/out.
- Schedule and oversee warehouse team to meet the demands of the CPU, and manage the flow and quality of work to maximise efficiency to manage labour hours.
- Inspect equipment, tools, and machinery regularly, and oversee general maintenance as
needed. - Maintain a good working relationship with our external logistics team and suppliers.
- Live and breathe continuous improvement.
Who you are:
- Proven work experience as a Warehouse Manager.
- Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices.
- Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases.
- Leadership skills and ability to manage staff.
- Strong decision making and problem solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Forklift licence.
