About The Role
Bespak is looking for a Warehouse Shift Manager to join us at this exciting time of expansion for the business. This is a permanent onsite position for the Holmes Chapel site, CW4 8BE. The salary for this role is £40k to £45k. Other benefits you will receive are 25 days leave plus bank holidays, discretionary annual bonus, generous 10% pension contribution, onsite free parking, and medical / dental / health / life assurance.
Working Pattern - Initially you will start on a days patter which is : Monday to Friday usual working times of 8:30am to 5:00pm with an 8:30 am to 3:45pm finish on a Friday. There is some flexibility on start and finish times.
As the site volume increases, the shift will move to a 2-week rotating shift of 6am to 2pm in week 1, and 2pm to 10pm in week 2. The salary rise as you will then receive a shift allowance so the range will move to £46,000 to £51,700.

As the Warehouse Shift Manager, you will lead and develop the warehouse team to ensure the timely and compliant supply of goods to customers. Your main responsibilities will be managing your team's performance and development, overseeing inventory accuracy, and ensuring all operations meet strict safety and quality standards. You will track key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement initiatives and manage the departmental budget. A key part of your role will be upholding all compliance requirements and fronting customer and regulatory audits. You will be essential in making sure all warehouse activities are completed safely and efficiently.

As a Warehouse Shift Manager your duties will include:
- Leading, motivating, and developing the warehouse team.
- Ensuring timely, compliant supply of goods to customers.
- Managing all stock and ensuring total inventory accuracy.
- Measuring and reporting on key warehouse performance indicators.
- Seeking and implementing continuous improvement in warehouse processes.
- Managing safety, budgets, and fronting regulatory audits.
Warehouse Shift Manager, beneficial key skills and experience:
- A degree or equivalent supervisory level experience.
- Operational management experience.
- Proven track record of delivering results consistently.
- Demonstrable ability in building teams and managing change.
- A high level of GMP understanding and knowledge.
- Good working knowledge of core ERP systems.

Holmes Chapel is a beautiful village in Cheshire with excellent transport links via its railway station on the Crewe-Manchester Line, proximity to the motorway network and Manchester Airport. The National Parks of the Peak District, Lake District and Eryri (Snowdonia) are within easy reach.
