Position: Warehouse First Line Manager
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: 4 on, 4 off - Nights 6pm to 6am

Salary: £29,000 to £31,000 plus 20% Shift Premium
Location: Northampton - NN4 9BD

DHL, award winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Warehouse FLM to play a vital role coordinating our daily logistics requirements. To succeed in this role, you should have a comprehensive knowledge of supply chain supervisory practices and a demonstrative understanding of warehouse procedures, including storing goods and dispatching orders.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

Role Purpose:

• Responsible for the health, safety and welfare of all colleagues within a team.
• Manage an Operational function on a daily basis to achieve effective and efficient operations with excellent standards of service.
• Provide efficiency and performance through outstanding people management skills.
• Focus on areas such as development and engagement of department team

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

Requirement:

• Warehouse operational management experience - essential
• Good communication skills (verbal & written) - essential
• Retail experience - advantageous

A recognised qualification in Supply Chain Management or Logistics will be well received.
