Essential criteria

  • Experience of managing and leading a team
  • Evidence of good organisational and planning skills
  • Evidence of quality improvement practice

  • Evidence of practice development activity within the neonatal field

Desirable criteria

  • Evidence of teaching or presenting

Qualifications

  • First level registration - (RN(Adult)/RN(Child)/RSCN/RM
  • Specialist qualification
  • Graduate
  • Neonatal Life Support
  • Safeguarding Children

Desirable criteria

  • Leadership qualification
  • Working towards a master's degree
  • Enhanced practice course
