Priory Hospital Barnt Green is located in the stunning Lickey Hills Country Park, 10 mules south of Birmingham City Centre. We have thirty-three beds across three wards including a ten bedded female NHS Psychiatric Intensive Care, a thirteen bedded mixed gender NHS acute service, and a bedded private acute ward beds for both men and women.

In addition to providing inpatient services, the hospital has a large outpatient department and regional conference facilities. The hospital opened in Match 2022 and this is a fantastic opportunity to join a new and developing team, in a brand new hospital located in a beautiful setting.

Job Advert Role Description

Priory are looking for somebody who will be a highly visible role mode, leader and senior member of the team.

They should be:

• Experienced in rota management and staffing.
• Passionate about promoting the highest standatds of care.
• Committed to providing individualised care for patiens in terms of both mental and physical health.
• Support junior staff in terms of supervision, continuous professional development and career development.
• Experienced in recruitment and retention.

Knowledge, skills, qualifications, and abilities:

• Excellent leadership and management skills.
• Clinical experience within multi-disciplinary team.
• Good communicator within all situations.
• Experienced in leading a team.
• Able to focus on staffing and develop staff to meet the needs of the ward.
• Experienced of supporting students.
• Knowledge of mental health legislation and statutory requirements.
• Experience for investigations, complaints and report writing.
