ITV Studios are developing digital distribution and brand licensing divisions and transforming the way they work with brands, agencies and creators at a global level.
The VP Creator & Production Partnerships will lead the development and implementation of ITV Studios global creator partnerships and production strategy, transforming how the business collaborates with creators, production partners and brands to drive net new and incremental revenue.
Sitting within the Brand and Commercial Partnerships team, this role will define and deliver a best in class creator business that connects ITVS IP, creators, and commercial partners.
The role requires exceptional interpersonal, commercial and creative instincts, strong leadership skills and the ability to build and manage a diverse ecosystem of creators and production agencies.
Working closely with a number of stakeholders and team members this person's primary responsibility will be the successful delivery of creator led, social first partnerships and production capabilities for brand partners and ITV Studios labels, alongside contributing to and developing net new revenue growth.
This is a transformational role. There will be a requirement to create new ways of working, find solutions to strategic and creative challenges that have not previously been defined as well as creating new internal workflows and securing new 3rd party partners in order to unlock value.
Main responsibilities
REVENUE AND PARTNERSHIP MANAGEMENT
- Play a leading role in developing and growing the ITVS Creator business.
- Develop and grow investment / revenue partner relationships at brand, media and creative agencies.
- Own the development, management and profitability of the Creator P&L.
- Source and manage supply partner (creator) relationships.
STRATEGIC AND CREATIVE OWNERSHIP
- Be the creative champion and best practice authority within the business for creator content and social first outputs.
- In particular, own the strategy for developing creator led, social first partnerships and production solutions.
- Work with the insights team to surface trends, build success stories and develop creator strategies for live projects and RFPs
- Champion innovation by strategically pitching and testing new ways of working with creators across the ITV Studios
DEVELOP AND MAINTAIN AN ECOSYSTEM OF PARTNERS
- Build and maintain a roster of best in class creator, production, and technology partners.
- Standardise engagement models, usage rights and commercial frameworks (deal types).
- Develop governance process, contact & briefing strategy
MANAGE SOURCING, ENGAGEMENT AND DELIVERY
- Manage the sourcing and briefing of the right partners with a particular focus on the sourcing of the right creators / social first production solution.
- Use data / partner data to support creator rationale
- Work with the team to manage the successful delivery of output.
- Ensure output is strategically and creatively aligned to requirements and manage internal sign off processes.
- Identify opportunities to deliver new innovative production services.
TEAM COLLABORATION & RELATIONSHIP BUILDING
- Work with Brand Licensing, Zoo 55, platform partners, and media agencies in the successful delivery of partner and label content
- Collaborate across ITV Studios to ensure partnerships deliver both commercial impact and creative excellence.
- Drive cultural and operational alignment between brands, creators and labels.
- Exhibit team and business values in the day to day.
GOVERNANCE, REPORTING & APPROVAL
- Ensure alignment with legal, rights and IP frameworks.
- Collaborate with Brand Operations to develop a robust reporting framework and maintain a library of integration case studies.
- Monitor and share global trends, and best practice, using insights to inform future strategy in production and creator partnerships.
Skills you'll need (minimum criteria)
- Proven senior-level experience in sourcing, managing and delivering creator and production partnerships.
- Ability to inspire partners and internal teams with conceptual, creative ideas that deliver value for both brand and content.
- Proven network of global media agency collaboration.
- Strong negotiation and client-facing communication skills, particularly with media buyers and brand directors.
- Highly commercial, data-informed, and insight-led approach to opportunity development.
- Strong leadership, project management, and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with an ability to manage multiple stakeholders across territories.
- Experience managing a P&L
