This job is brought to you by Jobs/Redefined, the UK's leading over-50s age inclusive jobs board.
Overview
Volunteers make an enormous contribution to our work at Change Grow Live.
Last year over 1400 volunteers donated over a quarter of million hours of their time to our organisation.
Would you like to join our growing team of volunteers, and make a real difference?
Responsibilities
Do you want to volunteer in young people's services?
This is an exciting opportunity for volunteers who would like to gain experience working with groups of young people in the role of substance use educators and group facilitators.
Along with a facilitator you will be delivering group work in schools, interacting with lively, teenage audiences whilst communicating messages of drug and alcohol harm reduction.
As part of our commitment to your learning and development you will be provided with the opportunity to develop your presentation skills, learn more about drugs, alcohol and children's safeguarding as well as offering you meaningful contact with our client group.
We are actively recruiting people who can offer us 1 - 4 days per week to work within our young people drug & alcohol service; we are specifically looking for people who are keen and enthusiastic and would be able to commit to staying as a volunteer with us for up to one year.
