Driver Volunteer
Volunteer Drivers Needed - Newcastle Hospice
Join our hospice team and provide vital transport for patients to and from their appointments.
What you'll do:
- Drive patients safely to their appointments
- Offer light assistance and friendly conversation
- Maintain a welcoming vehicle environment
What you'll receive:
- Travel expenses reimbursed (45p per mile) and public transport fares
- Ongoing training, support, and connection
- A rewarding role with real impact
Requirements you need to know before applying
- Aged 18+ with a UK driving licence and use of own vehicle
- Able to volunteer a few hours one day a week
- Comfortable offering light support and friendly conversation
