LONDON AND SOUTH WEST

To work within our Vocational Rehabilitation Service, experience of working with clients with life changing injuries is highly desirable, either within a similar role or within an organisation providing Vocational Rehabilitation Services.

With a minimum of 5 years vocational rehabilitation experience applicants will ideally have experience of supporting clients return to work or career redirection; undertaking vocational assessments and delivering structured job seeking support.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• Supporting clients who have a wide variety of physical, cognitive and psychological impairments.
• Conducting assessments of clients vocational needs and providing a written report with recommendations for ongoing support.
• The support can be related to returning to work or career redirection if applicable. This does not necessarily mean employed roles, with voluntary roles, education/training or structured meaningful activities more appropriate for some.
• Supporting adolescents or young adults with return to education/training or transition into varying education/training/employment.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Minimum of 2 years vocational rehabilitation experience.
• Ability to adapt communication based on client needs.
• Report writing experience.
