• Job Title: Visual Merchandising Manager

• Location: Bury HQ BL9 8RR/ Field Based

• Working hours: 40 hours per week

What You'll Be Doing:

As a Visual Merchandising Manager, you'll be doing the following:

• Vision & Change - Drive creative and commercial visual merchandising solutions, incorporating local trends while maintaining JD's corporate identity, and plan for new store openings and refits.
• Talent & People - You will lead, coach, and develop Visual Specialists and store management teams, identifying key individuals for growth and conducting regular training to elevate store standards.
• Communication & Culture - Ensure effective communication between Franchise Teams and Partners, providing clear feedback and supporting the alignment of visual merchandising with business goals.
• Collaboration - Work with partners, brands, and cross-functional teams to execute new retail opportunities, key campaigns, and store openings while maximizing sales and market presence.

What We're Looking For:

• Having already gained extensive field knowledge you will be well-positioned to embrace this challenging management role. To succeed in this role you must have good presentation skills with the ability to carry out and implement tasks.
• This challenging and high-profile role demands a truly exceptional individual with excellent communication skills who can provide intelligent, articulate and concise feedback.
• Proven experience in training and developing teams is essential.
• A commercial individual with a creative personality who can establish effective visual solutions when required.
• An ability to deliver success through motivation and initiative ensuring all tasks are carried out punctually and to a high standard.
• This is a field-based role, therefore international travel and overnight stays will be required.
• Driving Licence required.
