Purpose of the Role
Join the Whole Vehicle - Engineering Workshop team as the Vehicle Delivery Manager where you'll be responsible for the operational delivery of the workshop with responsibility for quality, budgetary control, product delivery, Health & Safety and people procedures. This is a vital role within the Engineering Workshop and will allow the right candidate to get up and close to the fantastic product range at Bentley. Reporting into the Functional Manager - Engineering Workshops your main responsibilities include;

  • Ensuring that the processes, documentation and procedures conducted in the department support strategic performance objectives and are audit compliant
  • Leading the development & training of the team to ensure appropriate skills for both current and future products / processes in line with the cycle plan, adopting a successional planning approach.
  • Working at an operational level to ensure the department will deliver to Group processes aligned to Engineering
  • Driving a culture of Continuous Improvement and leading by example

About the Team
If successful you will join a team of agile and driven Managers in leading experienced Technicians with the support of your Team Leaders. You will have help from other areas of the wider department which includes Logistics, Technical Support and Strategic Planning all have the same common goal and we consistently meet our delivery objectives.

About you - Skills and Experience

The successful candidate will be in a results driven automotive workshop management role either within a manufacturing or retail environment ideally with experience in the luxury automotive sector. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

  • Automotive Workshop/Aftersales experience
  • People Management experience
  • Managing performance culture experience
  • Workshop Health & Safety knowledge
  • Automotive software experience (DMS)
  • VAG Product knowledge
