UX/UI Senior Manager

The Opportunity

As UI/UX Senior Manager, you'll be responsible for developing and driving the overall UX strategy and vision across multiple brands, collecting and translating user insights into effective user journeys. As part of the Digital Team, you will lead a team of UX/UI Designers dedicated to ensuring that all elements of the online user experience are optimised for improved usability and exceptional visual design.

What you'll get to do

  • User Experience: Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to define product workflows, interactions and UI specifications to ensure a seamless and optimal user experience. Advocate for user-centric design principles within the organization.
  • Design System Development: Establish and maintain design systems and UX / UI guidelines to ensure consistency in design elements, such as colour schemes, typography, and UI components across multiple brands.
  • Prototyping & Wireframes: Create and oversee the development of user flows, interactive prototypes, and wireframes to convey design concepts and gather feedback from stakeholders and users.
  • User Research: Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions; incorporate user insights and feedback into the UI design process, making data-driven design decisions. Analyse user feedback and data to continually improve the user experience.
  • Accessibility: Ensure that UI designs comply with accessibility standards and guidelines to make digital products inclusive and usable for all users.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct design reviews and QA checks to ensure that the final product matches the design vision and is free of inconsistencies.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Communicate design decisions and rationale effectively to stakeholders and collaborate with developers to ensure seamless implementation.
  • Team Development and Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of UX / UI designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment. Manage project timelines and resources to meet deadlines.

We'd love to meet you if you have

  • Experience within the Beauty, Luxury or Consumer Goods industries in a similar role.
  • Proven UI/UX design or equivalent practical experience at a consumer-focused company.
  • Experience with prototyping with UX design tools required.
  • Ability to apply design principles across web, mobile and native platforms.
  • Experience with building a team of UI/UX designers and leading them through complex projects.
  • CSS, HTML, and Java Script not required, but would be a plus.
  • High proficiency in popular design and prototyping tools such as Figma.
  • Extensive experience in UX design and research.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Deep understanding of user-centered design principles.
  • Experience with user research methods and usability testing.
  • Strong analytical skills for interpreting user data.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish and/or French is a plus.
