Role Summary

The main objective of this role is to take responsibility for driving root-to-branch control of our leasehold property portfolio within the EU business.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Drive robust financial control across all aspects of property and occupational costs. P&L, Balance Sheet & Cash.
  • Responsible for all aspects of Property costs including budgeting, forecasting, payment, and reporting.
  • Oversee the month-end process for the shared services departments, including monthly P&L reporting, variance analysis and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Build relationships and partner closely with senior stakeholders both in the EU and North America.
  • Assistance with the lease management plan, including coordination of contract management, renewals, break clauses and indexation management.
  • Drive continuous improvement, standardisation, and simplification of processes across the function, leveraging Qlik.
  • Coordination with third parties and local authorities to ensure effective planning and execution to meet all statutory deadlines, and commitments.
  • Drive value creation agenda for occupational cost, including ownership of CAM and rates challenge programme.
  • Own annual insurance and utility contract renewal process with our brokers
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the financial statements accurately reflect the ongoing maintenance and repairs programme.
  • Manage and develop a team of direct reports.

What You'll Need

  • Significant leasehold multi-site experience including working with landlords.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with a proven track record of developing team members to be their best and achieve their potential.
  • Ability to interpret and communicate lease and financial information with transparency provide insights to deliver business improvement and optimize and protect value.
  • Preferable is exposure to Oracle EBS, MicroStrategy, Hyperion, Qlik and advanced user of Microsoft Excel
  • Challenge the status quo.
  • Strong influencing abilities to build consensus and engagement with key partners at all levels and across the organization.
  • Ability to lead change and prioritize team workload in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills, commercial acuity and understanding of business drivers, with related business experiences are preferred.
