Location: BS10 7SD

Working Pattern: 40 hours per week , 5/7

Rate of Pay: £35,360.00 per annum

Key Responsibilities:

  • Culinary Operations:

  • Preparing and cooking food to agreed standards.
  • Ensuring all food is stored, handled, prepared, and served hygienically.
  • Creating and developing menus.
  • Managing food production and service, including portion control and presentation. Maintaining kitchen cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Staff Management:
  • Supervising and training kitchen staff.
  • Organizing and allocating work schedules.
  • Conducting performance reviews and providing feedback.
  • Recruiting and selecting new staff.
  • Financial Management:
  • Managing budgets and controlling costs.
  • Monitoring stock levels and minimizing wastage.
  • Ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Health & Safety:
  • Ensuring all staff adhere to health and safety policies and procedures.Maintaining safe working environment and ensuring proper equipment operation.
  • Responding to customer feedback and complaints.
  • Ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Other Responsibilities:
  • Working with the Head Chef on menu compilation and development.
  • Managing special events and catering requirements
  • Maintaining records and completing necessary paperwork.
  • Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in a similar role, including staff management and food preparation.
  • Strong culinary skills and knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
  • Knowledge of financial management and stock control.
