UK Financial Services Insurance Marketing Manager

We're looking for a Marketing Manager to come on board to support Martina Neary, the UK Insurance Leader, and our insurance partners with producing and delivering a number of strategic pieces of content, events, and programmes.
The opportunity
Based in our Canary Wharf office (with an expectation to be in the office 2-3 days per week), you will be responsible for developing and executing the marketing plan for the UK insurance sector.
Being part of such a dynamic and fast paced industry, your role will be crucial in helping the business respond to industry issues and to deliver against its strategic priorities. You will be working directly with the insurance partners and the UK Financial Services Marketing Leader, to develop the plan.
Your key responsibilities
No one day will be the same in this role as you will get involved in a wide range of projects that will require you to:
- Create, manage, and deliver the strategic marketing plan for UK insurance based on the business priorities
- Manage and deliver priority marketing activity, including sponsorships, in-person/virtual events, and content with support from a marketing executive and the wider marketing team
- Manage the insurance focused marketing executive
- Manage relationships with key trade bodies
- Work closely with the EMEIA and global insurance team to leverage and activate EMEIA and global activity in the UK
- Manage LinkedIn accounts for key stakeholders
- Act as a strategic adviser to the business on non-priority marketing activity
- Measure all marketing activity and demonstrate ROI
- Manage the UK insurance marketing budget
- Support the UK Financial Services Marketing Leader with ad-hoc projects
Skills and attributes for success
- Experience in developing and executing marketing plans, including events, and thought leadership
- A confident individual with strong interpersonal skills

- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills
- An innovative and creative thinker
- Ability to produce and proof written collateral
- Commercially minded and results driven
- Highly motivated with the ability to work under pressure
- Line management experience
To qualify for the role, you must have
- A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a similar role
- Demonstrable experience of managing and delivering marketing plans
- Exposure to senior stakeholders, external clients, and suppliers
- Excellent project management skills and experience of working with various processes
- Proficient with the Microsoft software
Ideally, you'll also have
- Experience of working within a professional services partnership
- CIM qualified or a Bachelor's degree, preferably in marketing or communications
