UK Financial Services Campaign Marketing Manager (6-month Secondment/FTC)

We are recruiting for a Marketing Manager on a 6-month contract within our campaigns team. This individual will have ownership of several of our Brand, Marketing and Communications (BMC) campaigns, supporting the UK Financial Services (FS) businesses' strategic priorities and growth ambitions.

The opportunity

Based in our Canary Wharf office, you will have the opportunity to lead some of our most high profile cross-sector marketing campaigns, to help elevate our brand and drive revenue opportunities. Working with several senior stakeholders across the business, you will be responsible for developing and project managing the BMC strategy and plan, including the execution of all activity.

Being part of a dynamic and fast-paced industry, your role will be crucial to the way our business responds to industry issues and delivers against its strategic priorities and revenue targets.

Your key responsibilities

  • Commercial awareness and understanding of industry issues, business priorities and key campaigns for the UK FS business
  • Creating integrated campaign strategies and plans which include all the relevant BMC disciplines - Brand, Marketing, Internal Communications and Press
  • Understanding of client issues, to proactively identify the right channels to market and innovate to engage with our audience in different ways
  • Generating creative ideas and tailored initiatives, to build our brand, drive sales and develop advocacy
  • Working with subject matter experts to develop timely, relevant, and insightful content
  • Developing a robust digital and social media strategy to support campaign activity
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to the business, influencing leadership and senior stakeholders.
  • Leveraging UK&I, EMEIA and Global FS campaign activity and localising content where relevant
  • Leading and coaching junior members of the team on campaign activation
  • Analysing the value and impact of campaign activity
  • Monitoring and reporting on budgets

Skills and attributes for success

  • Demonstratable experience in managing multiple marketing campaigns
  • Integrated campaign management experience, including events, content, and social media
  • Strong stakeholder management and the ability to influence
  • A confident individual with strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills
  • An innovative and creative thinker
  • Ability to produce and proof-read written collateral (i.e., copy for social media, blogs)
  • Commercially minded and results driven
  • Highly motivated with the ability to work well under pressure

To qualify for the role you must have

  • A minimum of 5-6 years of campaign experience
  • Demonstrable experience of managing and delivering marketing plans, content, and events
  • Demonstrable experience of managing others
  • Exposure to senior stakeholders, external clients, and suppliers
  • Excellent project management skills and experience of working with various processes

Ideally, you'll also have

  • Experience of working within a professional services partnership
  • CIM qualified or a Bachelor's degree, preferably in marketing or communications
