We're seeking a future team member for the role of UK/Europe Head of Consultant Relations, Asset Servicing, Data & Analytics & Markets to join our Client Coverage team. This role is located in London, UK - HYBRID
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
- Lead UK/Europe Consultant Relations within Asset Servicing global client coverage organization across all client segments (Asset & Wealth Managers, Asset Owners, Banks, Broker/Dealers, Insurance and Alternative Fund Managers).
- Contribute to a strategic plan including related sales and marketing initiatives for managing and growing consultant relationships in region and globally, where appropriate.
- Identify opportunities to position our value proposition to consultants for new and incremental client growth.
- Partner with colleagues to drive enterprise-wide sales initiatives including collaborating with consulting firms on potential joint sales pitches or go-to-market offerings.
- Utilize consultant feedback and intel to recommend product/service enhancements to drive related investment initiatives, increase our probability of winning new business or retaining existing clients and to suggest thought leadership pieces (e.g., client case studies).
- Develop, maintain, track and report on all aspects related to consultant relationships such as firm profile, key contacts, engagement history, sales opportunities and related success rate, view of BNY, balance of trade, etc. and to monetize the consultant relationships.
- Contribute to the tracking of metrics, dashboards and other reporting tools to assess the effectiveness of the consultant strategy and overall engagement.
- Contribute to the development of an internal monthly consultant relations engagement snapshot and quarterly newsletter that details meetings, consultant insights, and revenue opportunities.
- Regularly engage with colleagues across Sales/Client Coverage/Client Service, Product, Operations, and Technology to ensure consultant strategy and engagement is well understood by all.
- Manage influential consultant relationships to promote BNY's products and services specifically within Asset Servicing, Data & Analytics, and Markets to drive revenue growth, improve win/loss ratio and client satisfaction levels and retain existing business.
- Consistently deliver proactive engagement with consultants to provide updates on BNY's products and service offerings, areas of focus, investment initiatives, organizational changes, and the firm's thought leadership.
- Provide recommendations to consultants on how BNY's offerings can help achieve their clients' strategic objectives.
- Conduct frequent and regular check-ins with the consultants to obtain valuable insight into their perception of BNY and the competitive marketplace and to ensure their continued satisfaction and strategic alignment with our firm's products/services.
- Ensure reciprocity or value for wallet share where BNY is a meaningful consulting client.
- Provide le at client/prospect meetings for sales opportunities where the consultant is highly influential and/or consistently present.
- Exchange viewpoints with consultants on industry trends and share subject matter expertise where appropriate.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
- Existing senior relationships or strong familiarity with the consultant community.
- Experience in the Asset Servicing/Financial Services industry and with institutional clients including but not limited to Asset Managers and Asset Owners.
- Strong leadership, calm presence, and ability to instil confidence and partner effectively with key stakeholders, internally and externally.
- Outstanding ability to network, establish, develop, and maintain trust-based relationships with key stakeholders while maintaining high ethical standards.
- Strong communication and presentation skills (both verbally and in writing); able to articulate complex information in a clear and simple manner to a variety of audiences.
- Creative thinking coupled with a commercial mindset and a passion to win business.
