Job Summary
Kiwa Agri Food is looking for a UFAS Scheme Manager to support and lead the management of the day to day operations of the sector. In this role, you'll develop and implement operational plans to meet business goals, support your team in achieving key objectives, and ensure adherence to UFAS standards. This is a remote UK based role, with occasional travel.

About the role
- Reporting to the Head of Certification Delivery, support the day-to-day management of the Sector, including creating, managing and implementing financial budgets within the UFAS scheme
- In collaboration with the Head of Certification Delivery, develop and implement strategies to ensure the future growth of the business in line with expectations and set targets
- Oversight of reporting of participant numbers, and revenue generation from the scheme
- Create strong relationships with customers and scheme owners ensuring ongoing business
- Attendance at relevant committees, meetings, conferences as required by the schemes
- Ensure the quality of the service we offer
- Ensure provision of adequate internal resource within own sector (technical reviewers)
- Recruit Assessors to ensure a geographical spread of services, also ensuring they have the necessary technical expertise to conduct audits/ inspections, and that they are evaluated and briefed in Kiwa procedures.
- Control and monitor assessments for the UFAS Scheme
- Ensure accreditation maintained across the scheme
- Deliver timely reporting of sector activity
- Ensure a safe working environment for employees and contractors for both physical and mental health
- Ensure talent is attracted and retained in the sector
- Ensure all sector employees receive a meaningful appraisal in line with the companies processes and procedures
- Managing participant technical queries, new participants and developing new schemes
- Bring a dynamic, driven and motivated approach to the Company and support the introduction of changes in culture required to maintain Kiwa at the leading edge of the TIC industry.
Do you have what it takes?
- A recognised professional in Animal Feed, with practical experience working in the feed industry.
- Strong operational knowledge of the Sector
- Lead Assessor training course (preferable)
- HACCP training (preferable)
- Budget management awareness with the ability to work to set targets
- Excellent planning and organisational skills
- Ability to work and reach targets set independently
- Relevant experience of managing customers
- The ability to work cohesively with all stakeholders
- Relevant experience of balancing the needs of Customers, Shareholders and Employees
- Exceptional communication skills and interpersonal relations at all levels.
- Willingness to travel when required
What can you expect from us in return?
- £48,000 to £50,000 per annum, plus £4,800 car allowance.

- 36.25 hours per week - Monday to Friday, home based role with travel
