We are seeking to appoint a full time Learning Mentor on a permanent contract from April 2025 or sooner.
32.5 hours p.w, (term time + 2 weeks) G5 £21,068.37 - £23,981.04 per annum

We are looking for someone that will:

• Will be able to work flexibly and creatively in a variety of ways to help children overcome their barriers to learning.
• Have good literacy and numeracy skills to at least GCSE or equivalent level and a mentoring qualification.
• Have excellent organisational skills.
• Have excellent behavioural management skills.
• Previous experience of the knowledge and skills for the role is essential.
• Be committed to inclusion and equality of opportunity.
• Forge positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
• Be well organised.
• Have the ability to work as part of a team with teaching and support staff.
The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of activities including:
• Developing 1:1 and small group mentoring programmes.
• Safeguarding responsibilities.
• Family liaison, encouraging parental involvement.
• Working collaboratively with external agencies.
• Individual learning support within the classroom.

An enhanced DBS; two suitable references, Prohibition check (where applicable); Childcare Disqualification (where applicable); qualifications (where applicable); medical fitness; identity, right to work checks will be required.
