Senior Lunchtime Supervisor

Permanent

Hours: Monday - Friday, 2 hours per day

Term time only, 10 hours per week

Salary: Grade 1 SCP 002 - 004 (£5,065.96 - £5,235.39)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Lunchtime Supervisor to join our school.

The successful candidate will:

• Actively engage with children during lunch time
• Be responsible to Senior Leaders for the conduct and safety of pupils throughout school during lunchtime
• Be responsible for a team of lunchtime supervisors
• Have the ability to remain calm and fair whilst upholding the school's policies
• Relate well with children of all ages.
• Be a role model for children by treating them with respect and acting fairly but assertively in implementing the school's policies
• Understand safeguarding and how to report any concerns appropriately
• Previous experience as a lunchtime supervisor or experience of working with children on a regular basis is desired
• Assist children in the dinner hall to choose and eat a healthy lunch, encouraging the use of good manners and social skills and ensuring a clean and safe environment
• Be able to work as part of a team and adapt to changing circumstances.

At Moorcroft Wood Primary School we are committed to safeguarding our children.
