Job description
- JOB TITLE: Pricing Analyst
- SALARY: £33982-£39347
- LOCATION(S): Watford
- HOURS: Full-time
- WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days, or 40% of your time, at our Watford site.

In this role you will be responsible for the delivery of strategic growth projects, new products and the continuous development of insight, reporting, and forecasting. The team works closely with all aspects of the business to deliver profitable growth and constantly improve the way we do things.
This is a new role - initially focused on a new product (used cars) - and would suit an ambitious candidate looking to imprint themselves on the role.

What you’ll need
- Support the commercial pricing strategy with particular focus on the used cars and stock products through Implementing and managing price changes
- Compiling regular reports (weekly & monthly) to senior management (efficiency of pricing changes, performance vs. KPIs, trends etc.)
- Identifying pricing areas for further review and escalating outliers
- Collating market intelligence / competitive environment
- Communicating with Operational colleagues (i.e. remarketing).
- Assist the procurement team on improving manufacturer/supplier relationships (price modelling, competitor comparisons).
- Increase awareness of the pricing environment within marketing, procurement, and sales teams.
- Assist in management of the marketing budget including purchase orders, recording and submitting all invoices to finance.
And any experience of these would be really useful
- Analytical and logical thinker; excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills are essential. Experience navigating analytical packages is a bonus (Qlik, Tableau)
- Commercially minded; capable of identifying trends and understanding impacts/opportunities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills; working in a small team and frequent communication with other areas (written and verbal).
- Proficient understanding of finance
- Achieved a 2:1 or higher in a numerate degree (Economics, STEM).
- 1+ years’ experience in a similar role would be ideal (i.e. Analyst).
