Pay Rate: £40,000 to £44,000
Grade: L
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
Location: Walsall - WS2 7PT

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Transport Manager to play a vital role coordinating our daily warehouse and distribution requirements.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:

• Reporting to the Regional General Manager, your role will hold full accountability for service and delivery as well as strategic development of the Transport Department
• Implement and manage transport TMS
• Lead and develop the Transport Team
• Investigate / implement DHL initiatives through the Transport division to drive value for the Customer and DHL
• Network integration of deliveries to optimise cost savings and unlock synergie
• Deploy resource to ensure maximum service levels adherence with minimal cost impact
• Analysis of any special delivery requests and detail impact of changes to the Network and costings

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

• International CPC Holder
• IT Literate, with Microsoft Office experience
• Previous Transport Management experience
