We're now looking for a Transport First Line Manager to lead our driver team, oversee daily transport operations, and maintain a strong working relationship with our on-site customer.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Lead and support a small team of drivers, ensuring clear delegation, daily supervision and effective transport planning
• Work closely with the on-site customer warehouse and customer service teams, maintaining a strong operational relationship
• Monitor and communicate KPIs/SLAs, conduct team briefs, and drive high standards of performance, safety and service
• Oversee fleet and driver compliance, including Working Time Directive, driver hours, and general H&S requirements

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

• Must have experience within a transport office or transport planning environment. Transport Manager CPC is advantageous
• Proven people management skills with a track record of engaging, supporting and developing drivers
• Strong understanding of H&S, fleet compliance, Working Time Directive and driver hours regulations
• Confident IT user with experience of Microsoft Office and transport systems such as eLogii, Tachomaster and Microlise
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build strong customer relationships and represent the operation in stakeholder meetings
