Shift patterns: 4 on, 4 off 05:00am - 17:00pm (with night shift cover for annual leave and sick)
Location: Doncaster - DN3 3FQ

We're now looking for a Transport First Line Manager to support our daily transport operations by leading a team of drivers.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• To supervise, implement and coordinate productivity by communicating job expectations to direct line reports, ensuring that all deadlines are safely met within allocated time frames, while always maintaining standards of excellence
• Ensure drivers are legal and compliant on a daily and weekly basis and ensure clear communication between all functions within the transport department and the warehouse team
• To lead the work activities of the drivers and the transport clerical team, providing effective leadership, communication, motivation, training and development
• Carrying out HR Management tasks such as staff reviews, appraisals, absence management and disciplinaries.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

• Must have people management experience within transport
• Must have experience working within a transport office / supply chain environment
• Experience working within a unionised environment
• Computer literate - must have Microsoft Office experience
• Experience of conflict resolution would be desirable
• Adapts well to change and change process
