Contract Type: 12 Month Secondment (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: Any 5 days from 7 (including every 1 in 4 weekends. Saturday OR Sunday)
Location: Motherwell - ML4 3NW

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Transport First Line Manager to play a vital role coordinating our daily warehouse and distribution requirements.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:

• To be a 21st Century Manager leading and managing drivers
• Safe, legal and efficient execution of transport operations during a duty shift to network SLA's/KPI's
• Responsible for driver and fleet legal compliance during shift in accordance with DHL Asset Management Centre of Excellence standards
• Have clear understanding of Roles & Responsibilities applicable to your role and to your team
• Point of the contact for all drivers during your drivers duty shift

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

• Management experience in a Transport environment
• Experience preferably in multi user and chilled operation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Supervisory skills - managing individual performance/absenteeism/conflict and development
