What you'll be doing;

  • Set up and supervise drivers daily route sheets and paperwork
  • Complete weekly allocation spreadsheet in conjunction with route sheet
  • Be a point of contact for all transport queries
  • Carry out periodic checks of driving licence, ADR certificate, CPC card checks
  • Coordination of breakdowns and recovery
  • Liaising and managing service providers internal and external to book all scheduled and non scheduled work
  • Managing inhouse fleet maintenance and compliance system
  • Raising and managing purchasing order system
  • Managing driver tachograph compliance
  • Assist with driver daily debriefs / counselling forms

What we're looking for;

Essential

  • Previous experience gained working within transport
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Good IT skills

Desirable

  • Previous experience working within the waste industry
