Job Description
Evelyn Partners are looking for an Associate Director to join their fast-growing transfer pricing team.
We are an experienced team of TP specialists that delivers real value that is both practical and commercial and meets our clients' specific business needs.
We strive to implement robust and efficient solutions for our clients that recognise there is a fine balance between managing risk and cost. We work collaboratively with our clients to focus our input on value-adding activities that will make a real difference.
The role will involve you providing pragmatic TP advice for a diverse range of clients across all industries and ranging from start-ups to large international groups. The advice can include design of policies, transfer pricing advisory, TP documentation (CbCR/Master/Local files), value chain analyses, thin capitalisation reports, input into business reorganisations, transactions, and support with the practical implementation and design of transfer pricing processes
The team appeals to TP professionals who want more autonomy, greater flexibility, and the opportunity to deal with diverse work. Supporting all grades of the team from a technical and development perspective are also essential elements of the role. There will also be scope to contribute to the team's ongoing strategy and recruitment and play a leading role in continuing the fast-paced growth the team has experienced to date.

Job Description
Purpose of Role:
This role will provide the individual with opportunities to lead on transfer pricing advisory and compliance services for a wide range of business clients.
The primary responsibility will be to deal with all matters relating to the delivery of a portfolio of projects and managing more junior members of staff as necessary, including involvement in their ongoing development.
You will also be encouraged to engage in business development activity to aid the team's growth, with support provided by the Directors/Partners.
The role also encompasses a strategic element, with the individual liaising with the Director/Partner group on aspects such as strategy, recruitment and best practices.
Key responsibilities:
- Oversee delivery of a portfolio of projects across OMBs, SMEs and larger corporates
- Exposure to transfer pricing projects across sectors, including the full breadth of advisory projects
- Opportunity to assist with transactional and due diligence work
- Give exceptional client service and be responsible for maintaining regular contact with client team
- Provide technical advice that is tailored and specific to the circumstances
- Strong project management and end-to-end project ownership
- Opportunity and encouragement to engage in business development activities
- Liaison with Partners/Directors providing input into the team's strategic director
Qualifications
Education/Qualifications:
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CA) and/or tax advisor (CTA) preferably, but other relevant qualifications considered
Key Experience/Skills:
- Significant transfer pricing experience gained within the profession and or industry
- Technically capable tax adviser who is able to assist in complex client work
- Demonstrable experience of managing people and clients
- Appetite to develop business development skills to assist with the growth of the business
