Shift patterns: Monday to Friday
Location: West Sussex, RH6 0JW

We're seeking a Training and Resourcing Manager to play an integral role in our aviation contract, delivering a first-class service and achieving fantastic results.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

  • To take overall accountability for the training schedule for the entire campus, keeping up to date with technical, mandatory and refresher training for all colleagues.
  • To devise and implement training courses, ensuring training content meets the requirement for a safe operational delivery
  • To be fully conversant with and comply with all current company rules, regulations, procedures, processes and polices, reporting any breaches
  • Working closely with the planning department and the central resourcing team to ensure recruitment numbers are met in addition to playing a key part in their onboarding process.
  • Maintenance of, and compliance with, the written CAA / DfT through training standards while overseeing and implementing all relevant security training legislation and changes
  • Identify, develop and design training interactions which contribute to the business, and to comply with any industry standards, legislation mandatory requirements.
  • Assist the HSES Manager in reviewing, developing and improving current practices via Risk Assessment & SSoW in line with Training content
  • Provide training plans to the operation for the year and produce training reports
  • Deploy a wide variety of training and resourcing methods within the team
  • Oversee, feedback ready for approval on all training materials
  • Liaise with planning department for recruitment requirements and forecast for coming months to ensure operation is not impacted
  • Maintaining and Auditing the training and recruitment paperwork and files to the required standard in preparation for internal and external audits
  • Ensure all colleagues have the correct and compliant enhanced background checks and Airside passes
  • Manage all additional internal and external audits
  • Providing advice and support to the Senior Leadership on all directed training and resourcing requirements
  • Champion the delivery of digitilization
  • Complete regular 1-1's with all direct reports to aid career development and support

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

  • Ideally experience with authorised signatory
  • Experience working in training/recruitment is desired
  • Experience working within the aviation industry

SECURITY PROCESS TO WORK WITHIN AVIATION AND TRAVEL AT DHL

  • Be able to provide five years address history
  • Be able to provide five years reference history (employment/education/benefit claim/character)
  • To obtain a full airside ID
