Pay Rate: £34,000 - £36,000
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: Monday - Friday (office hours - however flexibility required with needs of the business)
Location: Heathrow Airport (TW6 3AE)

We're seeking a Training & Resourcing Manager to play an integral role in our aviation contract, delivering a first-class service and achieving fantastic results.
DHL work with Heathrow Airport directly to provide baggage services within the London Heathrow airport terminals. No two days on our Aviation contract are the same! You will play an integral role in the baggage operation, working to tight timeframes but delivering fantastic results.
WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
- Responsible for two critical areas of the operation, Training and Recruitment.
- To take overall accountability for the training schedule on site, keeping up to date with technical, mandatory and refresher training for all colleagues.
- To devise and implement training courses
- To be fully conversant with and comply with all current company rules, regulations, procedures, processes and polices, reporting any breaches
- Working closely with the planning department and the central resourcing team to ensure recruitment numbers are met and also playing a key part in their onboarding process.
- Maintenance of, and compliance with, the written Civil Aviation Authority / Department for Transport through training standards while overseeing and implementing all relevant security training legislation and changes
- Manage a team of trainers and administrators
- Accountability of resourcing requirements
- Agency Management
- Maintaining and Auditing the training paperwork and files
- Ensure all colleagues have the correct and compliant enhanced background checks and Airside passes
- Manage internal and external audits
- Providing advice and support to the Senior Leadership on all directed training requirements
- Manage relationships with airport stakeholders, customers and senior managers
- Delegate tasks effectively to team members
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
- Previous management experience
- Experience within a training department - Desirable
- Experience work experience within the aviation industry
- Full Manual Driving License
SECURITY PROCESS TO WORK WITHIN AVIATION AND TRAVEL AT DHL
- Be able to provide 5 years address history
- Be able to provide 5 years reference history (employment/education/benefit claim/character)
- To obtain a full airside ID
