Job Description

About the role of Trainee Manager;

The Trainee Manager role involves working within our key operational departments, giving you a 'hands-on' insight into all aspects of the day-to-day operation within these busy teams.

Initially supporting at team member level to gain in-depth operational knowledge, which will then lead onto the exposure to the supervisory and management aspects within each department.

You will be supported by a Mentor of the program, who will support your career aspirations through a structured development plan over an 18-month period to help you reach your full potential as a Trainee Manager, with the aim of fast tracking you into a Supervisory position and beyond!

Departments will include:

Restaurant, Kitchen, Reception, Bars, Housekeeping, and Retail

What skills and experience do I need?

  • Efficient and hard working with a 'can do' attitude
  • Enthusiastic and motivated with the ability to learn quickly
  • Guest focused, with the ability to build a rapport with our guests and leave a positive lasting impression
  • Standards driven, with excellent attention to detail
  • A 'Service Champion' who delivers the Operational Standards and seizes every opportunity 'To Entertain' and go above and beyond our guests expectations
  • Honest and trustworthy with a high level of integrity

Hours of work:

  • 40 hours per week
  • Working 5 days out of 7
  • Shift patterns will vary within each department
