Job Description
As a Trainee in Customer Project Management, you will support the delivery of telecom projects within a defined scope, budget, and timeline. You will assist senior managers through all project phases, from planning to completion. You'll collaborate with stakeholders across delivery, technical, sales, and finance teams. This is a hands-on opportunity to develop project management skills in a real-world, customer-focused environment.
Position: Internship
Duration: 3 months
Start date (tentative): July, 2025
Location: Hybrid in Reading, UK
Education Recommendations: Currently a candidate finishing their BSc or MSc degree in Business, Engineering, Information Technologies, or a related field with an accredited school
Responsibilities
- Support the coordination of technology projects for national and international clients.
- Participate in meetings with customers and internal teams, learning to manage expectations and communicate effectively.
- Assist in organizing and updating project documents, schedules, and status reports.
- Contribute to risk analysis, change management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
You have:
- BSc or MSc in Business, Engineering, Information Technologies, or a related field
- Strong communication skills and a genuine interest in working with customers
- A collaborative mindset and willingness to learn about project management, technology, and business
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Fluency in English
It would be nice if you also had:
- Experience from internships, academic projects, or volunteer work related to project management or customer service
- Familiarity with MS Office tools like Excel, PowerPoint, or Power BI
