Next Intelligence are looking for a motivated and confident individual to join their team as a Trainee Business Development Manager.

This is a fantastic opportunity to break into the mortgage sector, with full training and support provided as well as working in our lovely brand-new office space!

In this role you will manage a portfolio of broker accounts to drive engagement, support case placement across multiple product areas, and achieve financial and activity targets through proactive outbound contact and relationship-building.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively manage a portfolio of approx. 200-300 broker accounts, including key and new accounts
  • Achieve monthly and annual financial targets.
  • Identify and drive new business opportunities through outbound calling and relationship building.
  • Track and support business levels for key accounts to help them meet targets.
  • Assist brokers in placing enquiries across BTL, residential, second charge, bridging, and commercial, aiming to use Next Intelligence as the route or packager.

Skills required to be a successful Trainee Business Development Manager:

  • Strong communication skills: a clear and confident telephone manner, active listening, and ability to engage professionally.
  • Willingness to Learn: Demonstrated enthusiasm for training and personal development.
  • Resilience: Drive to meet targets and follow up leads persistently
  • Goal-Orientated Attitude: Motivation to meet KPI's and performance metrics. An interest in progressing within the company.
