The Team:
Ecommerce's Governance and Experience is a global team responsible for ensuring our marketplace is safe and trustworthy for not only users, but also sellers and creators. We value user satisfaction and work on policies, rules and systems to ensure quality. As a Listing Governance Program Manager, you will be responsible for risk assessment, policy strategy and operational execution of listing level governance policies in the EMEA region.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the end-to-end strategy of a listing governance and compliance sub-domain (e.g. Sustainability compliance, product safety controls, supply chain compliance,...)
- Define listing governance and compliance strategy, scope and requirements, based on risk assessment approach and in line with business expectations.
- Drive and execute global listing governance strategies in a scalable way, leveraging technology to implement automation and actively explore synergies with regional priorities
- Become the thought leader of international, regional, and local regulations applicable to TTS's products. This includes understanding laws related to illegal products, product safety, product compliance, testing, certifications, registrations, labeling, packaging, and other relevant areas.
- Define, develop and implement strategies to ensure adherence to listing and compliance policies across different markets. This may involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to assess and address compliance risks.
- Proactively engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure our programs and processes are executed with high standards and meeting all applicable requirements.
- Establish effective collaboration with technical teams to develop the best listing governance and product compliance solutions for our business.
- Leverage insights from Data Science to scale governance and continuously improve customer trust based on facts
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree.
- Extensive experience in risk management including 5+ years of consumer product compliance/safety related risk management experience
- In-depth knowledge of international consumer product safety issues in categories of consumer products, such as consumer electronics, beauty and personal case, toys, other generic baby products, and so on.S
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Deep EU product compliance and safety expertise
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct working experience in driving product compliance, product safety, illegal product strategy in an EU e-commerce company
- Self starter with the ability to autonomously define problems, implement solutions and manage strategies, for topics that may not be well-defined and require new and innovative technologies
- Curiosity and ability to learn new technology and subject matter areas.
- Proficient in analysis capability and tools (Excel, Access, SQL) for data analysis and reporting.
