TikTok Shop is an innovative marketplace fully integrated into TikTok. It brings together online sellers, buyers and creators - all within TikTok to build a one-stop, seamless shopping experience and bringing more commerce solutions that further enable our community to discover and engage with what they love.

We are seeking creative, strategic, hands on and experienced Marketing Events Manager to lead, manage and execute our own Tik Tok Shop (creators, merchants/sellers and joint events, partnerships with brands, business development/lead generation events as well as industry events across both B2B and B2C verticals.

The ideal candidate should have and come from marketing or marketing agency background and have previously worked on robust 2B (predominantly) events strategy. That includes closely working with cross-category business development leads while identifying the right opportunities for attendance for industry events but also proactively reaching out for partnership possibilities to leading industry trust bodies (e.g British Beauty Council, CEW etc.), publications (e.g. Cosmetics Business, TechRadar etc.), other solution/tech providers (e.g. Shopify etc.) or industry leaders (e.g. McKinsey, trend forecasting agencies) and more. The candidate should understand and have experience in running various formats of events (webinars, round tables etc.), coming up with scheduling and programming, engaging with speakers/partners and when/if needed prepping showcase material on behalf of TTS. The candidate should have relevant experience in end-to-end events management and production within the corporate environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Events strategy & calendar:
- Based on review of passed learnings, inputs from various functions (categories, creators etc.) across business, 2C and 2B marketing leads and budget, develop strategic approach to events
- Develop 2B and 2C quarterly events calendars (owned and external events)
- Proactively engage with Tik Tok local and regional teams to identify synergies and where/when possible, collaborate on opportunities
- Manage quarterly events budget
2. Owned events:
- Closely working with other functions/departments and 2C and 2B marketing teams, lead and execute our key events ensuring all merchandising is on brand
- Closely working with 2B lead, creatively craft owned event activation plan proactively partnering with industry top reputational players (identify them first)
3. External events:
- Based on strategy, identify key external events we should take part in and liaise with organisers to secure placements
4. Event management and execution:
- Manage end-to-end event execution from creative concept to final production ensuring visual identity is in-line with brand guidelines
- Liaise and manage production/design agencies, any other external parties and internal procurement teams to ensure execution meets high quality standards and is in-line with the requirements of the teams
- Ensure that insurance, legal, health and safety obligations are followed
- Keep event plans under budget and on schedule
5. Analysis and Reporting:
- Develop measurement metrics so that we can evaluate success and gather learnings
- Provide post-event recaps

Qualifications

Minimum Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- Experience in crafting events strategy as a part of wider 2B marketing vertical; identifying industry leading publications, trade bodies, consultancies etc. for partnership opportunities and convert them into awareness/consideration events to grow our business
- Experience in managing and executing 2B internal and external marketing events (consumer and industry facing)
- Ability to work across various functions/departments and manage multiple stakeholders
- Very organized with strong project management skills and result driven, able to perform at a fast pace and rapidly growing business

Preferred Job Requirements:
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in managing agencies and 3rd party vendors
- Proactive go getter with energy and positive attitude who can adapt and work within constraints
- Analytical and able to report on various marketing metrics
