The Beauty & Personal Care Key Account team is seeking a Business Development Manager who is responsible for constantly identifying, onboarding and incubating key e-commerce brands/retailers/merchants and providing them with development strategies, educational support and other resources to gain success on TikTok Shop using Beauty & Personal Care products.

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the 'lead to onboard' process, from prospecting, qualifying, negotiating and closing agreements with Key Accounts across TikTok Shop's Beauty and Personal Care Category.

The ideal candidate will have experience in Business Development and possess excellent communication, organisational and presentation skills. Operating in a fast-moving environment you will work autonomously, taking full responsibility and ownership for hitting business OKRs.

The Business Development Manager role allows open exposure and learning of TikTok methodologies, where you will be able to develop original ideas, approaches and solutions in a competitive environment.

Key success will be measured by your client acquisition and onboarding, education to new sellers on how to launch and grow their TikTok Shop, and ultimately, the revenue your sellers bring to the Beauty and Personal Care category on TikTok Shop.

Responsibilities
- Identifying and onboarding key beauty account partners into the UK market
- Managing the merchant partnership and experience from initial reach-out through to launch/go-live on the platform
- Working closely with cross functional teams (creator teams, marketing, product etc.) to ensure the new brand partners are setup for success on TikTok Shop
- Identifying common (or uncommon) brand blockers and working cross functionally to develop solutions for these
- Utilising data proficiently to better understand pain points, formulate business requirements, identify opportunities and prioritise solutions
- Supporting daily operations of newly launched brands
- Fluent in English

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
- Demonstrable experience of relatable business development and account management experience ideally at an online marketplace, e-commerce business or agency
- Strong knowledge of the beauty landscape, consumer demands, digital evolution and mobile transformation
- Strong network with top beauty brands/D2C brands (ideally e-commerce, social or c-suite connections)
- Practical experience and understanding of social commerce, content marketing and influencers
- Great at building trusted relationships with brand partners

Preferred Qualifications:
- A fast learner with a good sense of judgment and original thinking
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and adjust quickly to change
- Excellent communication, presentation and analytical skills
- Assertive nature
- UK market experience required
