About the team
The Supply Chain and Logistics team plays a vital role in ensuring a strong and efficient supply chain and logistics infrastructure that drives business growth and enables global expansion. They provide business planning guidance and logistics strategy assistance to existing businesses, helping them optimise their operational efficiency.
We are looking for talents to drive cost & revenue management for the logistics team to ensure market competitiveness and design strategies in line with the organization's goals.
Responsibilities
1. Logistics Pricing and Subsidy Strategy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine pricing and subsidy strategies based on market dynamics, cost trends and business objectives.
- Propose logistics pricing structures and subsidy schemes that drive market competitiveness and transaction growth for the business.
- Establish pricing SOP's and data-driven decision making frameworks to improve efficacy of pricing strategies.
- Conduct thorough market analysis to benchmark logistics pricing and subsidy strategies;
- Identify market opportunities and threats to inform logistics pricing and subsidy decisions.
2. Logistics Cost Optimization
- Conduct thorough analysis of logistics costs including last mile and warehouse expenses. Develop accurate cost forecasts based on volume projections and business growth plans.
- Work closely with stakeholders across the organization, including operations, finance and procurement to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms from vendors. Collaborate on initiatives to improve overall business performance and achieve cost optimization objectives.
- Proactively identify risks and potential cost impacts within the logistics supply chain. Develop contingency plans and mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions and financial losses.
3. Data Analysis and Reporting
- Analyze logistics pricing, subsidy and cost trends along with partner feedback to identify insights on pricing and cost-saving opportunities.
- Prepare and present regular revenue and cost reports with recommendations for revenue growth and cost optimization.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and measure logistics revenue and cost performance. Regularly monitor KPIs and performance metrics to identify deviations and implement corrective actions as needed.
4. Compliance and Governance
- Ensure logistics pricing and subsidy compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate pricing and subsidy documentation for audit purposes.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor degree with proven work experience in logistics. Have a good understanding of the business, supply chain, domestic logistics, and other related industries.
- 5 years of experience in logistics pricing, cost management, supply chain optimization, or related roles within the industry.
- Proven track record of implementing pricing strategies and achieving cost savings through optimizing logistics operations.
- Strong analytical skills, logical thinking ability, project management skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's or MBA in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field. Cross-regional and cross-culture work experience is preferred.
- Experience in pricing, revenue management, strategic finance or logistics solutions is a plus.
- Familiarity with online platforms and marketplaces, particularly in the context of logistics and fulfillment. Experience in large companies or international logistics companies is preferred.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and drive change management initiatives with effective communication and coordination amongst stakeholders across the region. Experience working in a fast-paced company is a plus.
- Strong business sense in logistics operations, can think outside the box and can take initiative in innovation to solve complex problems. Strategic mindset with a focus on driving results and continuous improvement.
