Responsibilities

With this role you'll be working as part of the Family team, based in Runcorn.

The team supports people with their or their loved ones' drug and/or alcohol issues.

No two days are the same and we treat every person who comes into our service as an individual, so being flexible, curious and a good listener are key.

We will support you in this volunteering role by ensuring that you receive regular supervision, and have someone on site who you can approach for day-to-day advice and guidance. In return for the time you give you will receive valuable training and gain experience and skills. You'll be making a real difference too.

This is what one of our Volunteer Recovery Co-ordinators/people who use our service had to say (use quotes from your service): "I like the team spirit, that we all bring something different and we always put the people who use our service first".

Or

"Seeing people move in their treatment journey and seeing a zest in life coming back in their lives is so rewarding".

Or from a service user:

" Me and my key worker get on really well and this benefits me, coming to Change Grow Live gives me stability".

Our values are to be compassionate, open and bold. If this sounds like you we'd love to hear from you so click apply.
