Job Title: Test Engineer
Location: Portsmouth – Broad Oak
Salary: Up to £35,000 commensurate with skills and experience
What you’ll be doing:
- Test a range of low/medium complexity manufactured products
- Diagnose a range of low/medium complexity manufactured products with occasional technical support
- Testing in accordance with defined Test Schedule/Instruction
- Use wide range of standard test equipment
- Use business systems to record product history/compliance
Your Skills and Experiences:
- HNC or equivalent qualification in electronic / electrical engineering or relevant apprenticeship
- Possess technical expertise to include elements of either analogue, digital, RF or micro-processing domains

The Torpedo Repair and Maintenance team:
BAE Systems Products Torpedo Repair and Maintenance team is responsible for the delivery of Spearfish heavyweight torpedo hardware to ensure customer capability. The role will interface with a range of stakeholders across the business to diagnose and repair manufactured products to meet customer priorities. The Torpedo Repair and Maintenance team is part of wider assembly, integration and test business located at Portsmouth Broad Oak with the opportunity to develop and enhance your skills and knowledge, with potential advancement to a Level 3 Test Engineer position.
